This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, join our email list, or purchase digital products. This policy does not cover protected health information (PHI) handled through any client portal or therapy platform.

Sensitive data / PHI:

  • Please do not submit clinical details or PHI via website forms or email. If you are a therapy client, use the client portal provided for clinical communications.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide services (process orders, deliver downloads, provide receipts/support).

  • Communicate about purchases, updates, and customer support.

  • Improve our website and digital products (analytics, troubleshooting, debugging).

  • Marketing with your consent (e.g., newsletters, promotions).

  • Legal compliance (records, tax/audit, preventing fraud).

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under these legal bases:

  • Contract: to fulfill your purchase.

  • Consent: for marketing and optional cookies/analytics.

We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate the site and deliver products, such as:

7) Retention

9) Your Privacy Choices & Rights (Texas)

Texas residents (TDPSA): You have the right to 1) confirm whether we process your personal data and access it; 2) correct inaccuracies; 3) delete personal data; 4) obtain a portable copy; and 5) opt out of processing for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How to exercise your rights (two methods):

  1. Email amanda@liveandaligntherapy.com with the subject line “TDPSA Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise.

  2. Use the Contact form on our website and include “TDPSA Request” in your message.

We may request information to authenticate your request. We will respond without undue delay and within 45 days of receipt; where reasonably necessary we may extend once for an additional 45 days and will notify you within the original period. We provide responses free of charge up to twice per year per consumer; we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act if a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.

Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email (or re‑submitting via the Contact form) with the subject line “TDPSA Appeal.” We will provide a written decision within 60 days and, if the appeal is denied, we will include an online method to contact the Texas Attorney General regarding a complaint.

Opt‑out mechanisms: You may opt out of targeted advertising or sale of personal data by (a) emailing us as above, (b) using the cookie/preferences controls on our site (where available), and (c) enabling a Universal Opt‑Out Mechanismsuch as Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser; we will honor UOOM/GPC signals as required by Texas law.

Sensitive data: We do not seek to process sensitive personal data via this website. If we ever need to, we will obtain consent before processing.

Other laws: If you are located outside Texas (e.g., California/CPRA or EEA/UK/GDPR), your local rights may also apply and you can use the same contact methods to exercise them.

10) Children’s Privacy

  • The site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

11) International Transfers

  • If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws.

12) Third‑Party Links

  • Our site may link to third‑party websites. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.
