If paying for therapy feels overwhelming, you’re not alone—and you have options. Some clients choose to pay directly and submit superbills themselves, while others want a smoother path to accessing their benefits. That’s where Thrizer comes in: an optional, client-friendly tool that helps you use your out-of-network benefits without extra hassle. You don’t have

to use it—but I’ll walk you through what it does and why so many clients find it helpful.

What Thrizer Does (Simply Put)

• Automatically submits claims on your behalf with your insurance.

• Lets you choose how you pay—pay your co-insurance only, or pay in full and wait for reimbursement.

• Charges a small, transparent fee for handling the paperwork—only when they do the work.

Your Payment Paths (Using my $220/session rate)

1) Pay directly + submit your own superbills

• You pay $220 for each session.

• You submit claims yourself and get reimbursed later.

• Thrizer fee: $0 (if you don’t use it).

2) Thrizer Superbill Uploads (DIY—more help, same payment)

• You still pay $220 per session and upload your superbills into Thrizer.

• Pre-deductible: $2 per session.

• Post-deductible: $2 + 1% of the superbill amount.

• Thrizer treats claims for you—no more navigating insurance solo.

3) Thrizer Therapy Payment Platform—Automatic and Easy

• Claims are submitted every time you pay.

• Pre-deductible: $0 fee.

• OON Pay (post-deductible): You pay $220; Thrizer submits the claim and you get reimbursed. Fee is 1% of the therapist’s rate—only if reimbursement is successful.

• Thrizer Therapy Pay: You pay only your co-insurance at each session (think “in-network copay”), and Thrizer fronts the rest. Fee is 5% of the therapist’s rate, no extra charges if the claim is denied.
